About NCIKRG

 Objectives:

• Provide strategy, implementation, identification and protection of critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR) deemed critical to the nation’s public safety, governance, economic well being, infrastructure and security.    

• Strengthen methods to insure timely warning and response for the protection of critical infrastructure and key resources that face a specific, imminent and identifiable threat or risk.

• Design, integrate and improve technological platforms to strengthen critical incident, incident command and emergency management systems.

• Pursue specific private and public sector CIKR initiatives, enabling and enhancing collaborative environments in federal, state, local governments and the private sector to better protect, mitigate, and recover from the effects of critical incidents to the infrastructure and key resources assets under the control of governmental or private sectors.

• Understand, protect, and share information regarding all hazard threats, environmental and technological hazards in collaborative convenings among federal, state, local, and private sector stakeholders.

• Improve and strengthen CIKR, incident command and emergency management partnerships to maximize the efficient and effective use of resources.
